Mid Week Mojo

Do you remember we used to have a customer of the week feature on Dottie's World? Well after a while we decided to stop having it as a regular feature. The thing is, I really miss showcasing the work of the challenge participants so this week I've decided to have a trip down memory lane and show you one of the challenge entries we've received for this week's inspiration challenge.

Tara is quite new to the Dottie's World challenges but since purchasing the H&M downloads she's become hooked on using them so hopefully we'll see a whole lot more of her. Have you visited her blog? If you haven't you need to head over there, what an inspirational and talented lady she is.

So, as you know we had a swirly photograph for inspiration this week, I really like Tara's take on it, the swirls in the photo reminded Tara of the ruffles on Holly's dress, take a look....

Isn't it fab! I like how her head and the edge of the flower just overlap the top of the card and the pattern on the backing paper has the same kaleidoscope effect as the pattern on the inspiration photo .

I'm really enjoying seeing how the inspiration photograph has inspired people, it just goes to show how unique we all are as crafters, we all interpret things in totally different ways.
